Recipe: Watermelon-Mint Ice Cubes

It’s National Watermelon Day aka a great excuse to have fun with the vitamin-C rich fruit. Inspired by our Melon Kiss Lip Crayon, these cubes taste like candy and keep cocktails cool in the crazy summer heat.

Two ingredients, endless ways to play. These watermelon-mint ice cubes are simply chic and a cinch to make. We toss them into sparkling water for an office-appropriate mocktail, but they’re also an easy way to elevate a glass of champagne. (Bonus: Chew on leftover mint leaves for fresh, smooch-ready breath to pair with your pink pout.)

WATERMELON-MINT ICE CUBES

3 to 4 cups watermelon
Fresh mint, chopped

  1. Add watermelon and mint to blender and pulse until smooth. Be careful not to over blend the melon or it will separate and your cubes will come out lighter in color.
  2. Pour into an ice cube tray or mold and freeze for at least 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Enjoy cubes alone as a low-calorie dessert or add to a beverage of choice.
